Meet Akasha Rah of Dragon’s Hollow Healing Portal, #NOBASICS, & Temple of AKASHA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Akasha Rah.

Akasha, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was born in Krasnodar City in Russia. It is located in the southern parts of Russia near the Black Sea. Growing up in the Post Soviet environment wasn’t easy, and I immigrated twice, first to China, then to The United States. Throughout my life, I’ve witnessed violence and injustice against women, men, and children in the world, and I made it my life mission to help bring much-needed healing to our planet.

After overcoming severe traumas of domestic violence and sexual abuse. In the past few years, I have founded several socially conscious businesses. My company #NOBASICS is a transdimensional entertainment platform that produces socially aware projects through various outlets including film, fashion, and social movement. I also own a healing services company Dragon’s Hollow Healing Portal through which I provide my hypnosis and healing services as a Certified Hypnotherapist and Spiritual Advisor. I also formed a non-profit 501c(3) organization Tempe of Akasha that was created to help stop violence against women and children and to bring women empowerment.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Dealing with the issue of abuse had never been easy for me or anyone else who had ever experienced such a trauma. I’ve learned that it happens to more people than we realize and that a lot of the victims have resistance and are afraid to bring light to these issues. I was being called names, I was being shamed, blamed, and almost got killed when trying to speak up. Like any victims of abuse, I’ve suffered PTSD, low self-esteem and many other issues. It was extremely difficult to go public with my personal stories and lack of support, yet I found the strength to fight for what matters to me which is bringing awareness, help, and education to those that need it.

I’ll never allow anyone to control my spirit, my mind, or my soul and I’m here to bring change, with that comes a lot of responsibility and lie with any change some resistance.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Dragon’s Hollow Healing Portal, #NOBASICS, & Temple of AKASHA – what should we know?
As I mentioned before, all of my companies have a purpose of bringing healing and light into our world. I am known for my work on helping people overcome the trauma of abuse and domestic violence through my hypnosis business, while I’m working on a documentary “Moving Forward” to bring awareness about this issue to the masses via my entertainment platform #NOBASICS. And by utilizing my non-profit company Temple of Akasha, I am able to directly educate and empower women all over the globe.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I’ve had many mentors and spiritual leaders that helped me move forward and expand my mission. Lisa Machenber, C.HT has taught me everything I know about counseling Hypnotherapy clients. Gary Austin, the founder of The Groundlings and an improvisational theater instructor, has helped me channel my pain and emotions freely into the artistic expression of art. I’ve also had many wonderful teachers at The Los Angeles Film School that taught me to be a better filmmaker. My friends, family and my clients that teach me every day on how to be a better person deserve a lot of credit. My Mom, my dad, and my sister probably played the biggest role in my development as a human being.
