Today we’d like to introduce you to Agnes Muljadi.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started as a full time ballerina while doing photography part time. From there, I opened my Etsy shop to feature my photography items in 2012. I quickly had to set up an Instagram account as a way to promote my shop. After a few years of posting product images, I decided to post one of my ballet images for a change. The image went viral, I received hundreds of likes and new followers and was soon began building my brand, @artsyagnes. Today, I have over 500k followers on Instagram and I am a full-time influencer where I work on brand partnerships with mostly sustainable and ethical brands.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
For the most part, it has been a smooth road. Challenges include staying inspired to post relevant and impactful content. Having too many things to do all the time and being at two places at once. Time management has definitely been a challenge for me. That and lack of sleep! 🙂
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about @artsyagnes – what should we know?
I work with different brands to raise awareness about their products on Instagram and other social media channels. What I am most proud of is bringing a new level of awareness to the vegan and sustainable lifestyle.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I have been surrounded by amazing coaches all my life.
My ballet teacher, Julia Bourlina has been an incredible life teacher and I owe a lot of my success to her.
The teachings of Esther Hicks and her law of attraction has been transformative and life-changing and it has definitely taken my brand to a new level.
