Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Fischer and Christopher Rock.
Total Home WiFi was born out of the ashes of computersWTF – an I.T. service company started in Hollywood, CA in 2008 by Adam (think housecalls, troubleshooting, and outsourced tech support for businesses who don’t have I.T. Departments). After almost ten years in business, Adam sold the commercial division and pivoted the company to focus solely on providing smart home and WiFi network installations, and Total Home WiFi was born.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Total Home WiFi exists to serve our clients’ growing need for fast, reliable WiFi that just plain works. Our whole home WiFi/smart home installations make dead zones and connectivity frustrations a thing of the past. We professionally install concealed cabling to almost-invisible fixtures that blanket an entire property with Spectrum or AT&T’s high-speed Internet service. One can roam across a backyard, out to the guest house, pool, or down to the basement and stay connected – true freedom from a router.
The wireless backbone we design and provide allows all of the tech gadgets on a network to communicate faster and more efficiently. Total Home WiFi installations eliminate dropped connections and endless buffering when streaming video, improve cellular reception, and provide dynamic support for a greater number of tech gadgets and devices, underscoring the importance of strong network infrastructure.
Once we verify the network and run our quality assurance checks, our clients experience the frustration-free use of smart home devices like Sonos, Nest, Ring, viewing security cameras, intercom systems, Netflix, and AppleTV.
We also offer data ports in the walls, Sonos and in-ceiling speakers, surveillance systems, and more! We do it all professionally and without using unreliable boosters or cheap repeaters. We also offer full smart home integrations for wireless control of almost anything.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
With human technological advancements reaching an unprecedented level, we’re just glad to provide homeowners their own ray of this sunshine.
For instance, we just converted a 1920s Los Angeles Tudor home to a smart home without compromising the architectural integrity or aesthetic beauty for which the period is known.
What were you like growing up?
It was my twelfth birthday, it was an Apple IIc, and it was my grandfather who bought it for me—my first computer. And so it began, my lifelong love for these miraculous little—though not always little—machines. It was my friend Matthew’s Commodore 64 that I first took apart. It was through this dissection that I learned how a computer lives and thus how to bring it back to life. I didn’t charge Matthew for fixing his Commodore 64, but I quickly became that guy, the one family, friends, and neighbors sought out when their computer was “on the fritz.”
While a store manager at Tailwaggers Pet Supply in Hollywood in the early 2000s, I started receiving requests from customers to make help-desk type housecalls, and word of mouth began to take hold. In 2008, I left Tailwaggers for self-employment and have been growing the business ever since.
