Meet Adam Farfan of Elite Hathaway

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Farfan.

Adam, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Was kidnapped when I was eight yrs old, which is how I ended up in the US at 11, grep up Mormon in Utah. One of the leaders of my church was a financial guy, he came to meet with my parents, but they weren’t interested. (I was), next Sunday, I went up to him and begged him to teach me the industry, he said I was “too young,” I said, I’ll work for free, he said, come to my place after school every weekday, so I did…

That was the beginning of my career, at 18 I met my first Millionaire mentor, he showed me how to take my life to the next level, how I became a millionaire by 21. I grew up with two little sisters in my household, my home was always full of women (sisters friends). I recognized all the talents they had that I didn’t.

Early on, in my career I saw similar talents in females that other people didn’t, which is the reason why I was inspired to start Elite Hathaway, an online financial coaching company for females, we give them the platform they need to win big in life, we have many now across the nation, they do amazing things for people and their finances. I love education. My life is dedicated to helping people succeed in life. Maybe, because this is what the industry did for me…

Has it been a smooth road?
Definitely not, is anyone really? I think being a minority was a bit of a challenge that I had to ignore, but I experienced especially in the industry, where the average person statistically is 59 While Male.

However, a challenge working with people is that sometimes it seems like you want them to succeed more than they want it for themselves. I think one of the hardest things to do, is turn an Employee intro an Entrepreneur, the mentality has to be right, it’s not for everyone.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I think one thing that most people don’t understand (especially outside LA) is how important it is to have a brand, social media status, and good client presence.

Recognizing the little things that businesses are missing it’s what help me change things, not only in my companies but in the companies that I sit in boards of. My biggest talent is to recognize good talents, fuel peoples will and crush poverty which is just a mental state.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
100%!! People need to know what to do with all the money they make. But also education is important for all aspects of life. I would say start with children.

LA is a great place to start a business, its the MECCA for entrepreneurs, just make sure you capitalize your efforts and talents.
