Meet Ace Tunez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ace Tunez.

Hi Ace, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started rapping at a young age. Music has been in my family for as long as anyone can remember. My sister and I have engineered most of our own work throughout the years and she taught me most of what I know now. I have performed concerts in many cities and have opened for some of the biggest names in music today (Chief Keef, Young Thug, Lil Yatchy, RJ, etc.) I am working on my new album dropping sometime this year and will release a video to my new single finally hot this week.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Smooth wouldn’t be the word I would use. But everything I did to get this far was definitely worth it. People don’t see every sacrifice but I’ve made very many just to keep making good music and keep a steady fanbase. Patience is a big factor in music and I had to learn to be patient. Whether it’s waiting for other people to send me songs back or building my very own studio.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’ve been rapping for years but recently incorporated singing into my songs. I’ve had positive feedback about it. I’ve also been in a couple of short movies and I’ll be on the big screen real soon. My music discography is one of my biggest accomplishments because it has opened so many doors for me and others. My music is different and I stand behind it and people love it.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
Well, I was born in Orlando but I grew up in Riverside, CA most of my life. I love Orlando and I also love Cali. Best part about riverside is my peoples. I got my squad out here so I can stay in contact and hang with them. Only thing I would say is people look at music as more of a competition out here and not as more of an outlet. Everybody wants to be better than the next guy but nobody wants to help the next guy be better.
