Meet Ace-Jimi of Wing Society

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ace-Jimi.

Can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Wing Society started as a pop up at the Taste of Inglewood, a food festival in Inglewood California, on July 30, 2017, serving craft buffalo wings and sandwiches. Since then, we have been on a mission to provide the best quality food experience to our followers, which we refer to as the #WINGMOB.

Wing Society only sources the best quality ingredients for our customers. All of our chicken is All-Natural, Antibiotic-Free. Chef Ace-Jimi didn’t always use a kitchen as an office space. He started his career off as a mechanical engineer, while secretly holding a deep passion for making great food for great people.

He loved food so much that he decided to start a pop-up kitchen to serve craft wings, sandwiches, and fresh cut fries at events and festivals across SoCal. He worked as a mechanical engineer by day and a chef on the weekends & nights for a year before deciding to quit his mechanical engineering job and pursue his passion for food full-time.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
As an entrepreneur, there will always be ongoing hurdles or “struggles.” In this business, you have to be willing to put it all on the line. One struggle we had to overcome early on in this company is self-doubt. We realized that self-doubt is truly crippling to an entrepreneurs’ innovation and creativity and that you must believe in yourself at all times.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Wing Society – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
At Wing Society, we specialize in everything chicken! All of our chicken is California grown, all-natural antibiotic free, and free range.

Some of our top sellers include our all-white meat chicken bombers, whole wings, and our Superbowl which consists of coconut-lime rice, garbanzo beans, crema, chives, and lemon pepper. Making fresh, made to order, non-frozen food is what sets us apart from the competition.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
As an entrepreneur, it is important to have foresight, but at the same time, we must have hindsight to learn from our past. We are definitely looking to expand in the coming years, but as of right now we are only focused on becoming experts at our current task, which is making great food.
