Life & Work with Tyona Vallejo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyona Vallejo.

Hi Tyona, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My passion for coaching others started as early as elementary school when I wrote an advice column in the school newspaper called ‘Dear Tyona’.

From a young age, I’ve always been intrigued with personal growth. In my early 20’s I listened to Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins and read every self-help book that I could get my hands on.

My parents were divorced & I didn’t have a college fund waiting for me after high school so I began working & making my way through community college until I could transfer to a University.

Upon graduating from Cal State Fullerton with a Business degree, I landed a job as a Marketing Director for a corporate firm in Irvine.

While working in the corporate world, I began practicing yoga as a method to relieve my daily stress.

I loved the mindfulness component that helped me find Zen while dealing with the demands of Corporate business lifestyle.

My husband & I married shortly after college and within a few years we started growing our family. Once my daughter was born, I decided to stay at home to raise our children.

My yoga practice continued to be a comfort & scared haven for me while I dealt w/the challenge of marriage, raising children, health issues, & later, financial bankruptcy.

In 2012, When my youngest started school, I became a certified Yoga teacher & began sharing the gift of yoga with others.

Around that same time, I began working with a Life Coach. In working with her, I established massive change in my life.

Some of my personal transformations included:

Saving my marriage from near divorce.

Improving our relationship & communication.

I stopped overdrinking.

Renewed our financial situation after filing bankruptcy.

and so much more!!!

I truly saw the value & power of coaching firsthand and began sharing it with my yoga students.

As I shared the coaching techniques that worked for me, I quickly saw results in my students such as reducing stress, overcoming fears & phobias, & improving relationships.

Since then, I’ve studied with The Life Coach School and been certified as a LCS Life Coach and I have helped many many more clients level up their mindset and positively impact their lives forever.

As a Coach, where I believe I help people the most is in breaking-through self-sabotaging behaviors and helping women becoming the most Confident-Unapologetic-Bad Ass Version of themselves so they can accomplish amazing things.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of my personal struggles included growing up a child of divorce, overcoming financial issues, marital problems, past traumas & addictions.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Confidence Life Coaching

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The greatest lesson that I’ve learned is how to rewrite my story & empower myself to create a life that lights me up & gives back to others.
