Life & Work with McDaniel Marc

Today we’d like to introduce you to McDaniel Marc.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I always been around music but I started rapping in high school. I can say around 2018, just trying to practice and get better. After sports, music is what I was known for doing. In 2019 through a friend named Adrian ($olo) I met a producer who goes by Saidon or sai makes beats and from there, I started to get better all-around and also since then I been growing.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life as an artist? It hasn’t been all smooth but I didn’t expect it to be so I would say it’s fair some of the main struggles are not being able to pay for things like music videos or not being able to find the right marketing or promotion campaign but better is coming.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I write songs and record my music and that’s what I’m mostly known for. I’m proud of some things but overall, I’m not really proud at all there’s so much more I need to do so much more I can do but with my voice and lyrics, I always have something for everyone to relate to and fall in love with and I always do it my own way which is always going to be different/ make a difference.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Saidon or saimakesbeats does he’s helped me with beats, mixing, and mastering. For my project “Forever Heartless” me and sai is all it took to complete the project it came out a couple of months earlier by the way too and he’s a problem solver

Adrian ($olo) again without Adrian I probably would’ve never met sai so off that alone you know wassup but Adrian always gives me advice when I ask and he’s a supporter I’ve known him since I high school freshman year so ever since then we’ve been bros supporting each other and learning as we go.
