Life & Work with Edward Draven

Today we’d like to introduce you to Edward Draven.

Hi Edward, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m an Actor and Sports Entertainer in Atlanta. I started film training in the summer of 2015 and pro wrestling in 2021!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Oh, not at all. Professional wrestling and Acting are two very time-consuming industries in their own right. Trying to balance them out is very difficult. I think that the most difficult part of it has been traveling and not being around my family as much. It makes me sad but I believe the hard work will pay off.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a professional wrestler and actor trained by AR Fox and Dwayne Boyd. I’m most proud of me finally being brave enough to pursue wrestling. It has been a dream of mine since I was a child but it is definitely out of my comfort zone. I think what sets me apart from others is my desire to be great at every aspect of something just to better myself and not just motivation to be better than others.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Risks have definitely played a part in where I am now. I was already established as an actor. I was signed to 2 different agencies, auditioning daily and filming and I took a risk by pausing that for pro wrestling. I don’t know where wrestling will take me but I knew that I wanted to start young so I don’t look back and think “what if?”. I know that wrestling will take me far so I’m living life with no regrets.
