I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It was smooth before the Pandemic. I was with Meghan Trainor till 2022 and they ran a tight ship; no cancellation business was intact so that was a true blessing nowadays it’s good working with different artists but nothing compares to working with a true established artist.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Well, I’m a full-time drummer all I do is music full-time, that’s what pays the bills that’s just how I carried it was that me apart from others. I sound like me; I don’t try to sound like your body as I don’t try to copy what everybody else is doing strictly just do what’s in my heart and hopefully, the audience the people that are watching will receive it I specialize in Groov pocket playing although I can do the chops and fancy flaring all that good stuff but tell you the truth nobody that I have ever worked with in all my 20 years in this business local and professional I haven’t met an artist yet that wanted me to be busy so I try to specialize and separate myself apart from other drummers by locking into the groove and doing all of that other crazy stuff in the groove without it being overbearing we have taste and finesse.

Any big plans?
Oh I see myself having my own band which I already have now which is called the deacon board. Started in 2019 it’s a mixture of musicians that I put together friends associates. Mostly my partner in crime Frank Walton arranger composer Producer my brother we do instrumental hip-hop consisting of drums bass Keyboard Keyboard saxophone trumpet and some vocal so I would definitely love to take that on the road in the near future and that’s what I’m working on now. We have an EPL available on all social media platforms we ever music is stream it is called it’s my turn with an upcoming single due to release November of this also we have coming out in 2023.
