Life & Work with Sydney Hansen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sydney Hansen.

Hi Sydney, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started singing when I was six and knew right away that’s what I wanted to do. When I was ten, I started playing the guitar and I loved how I could accompany myself. I started playing out as much as possible anywhere from small coffee shops to big stages that filled thousands. I was fortunate to make connections with promoters and artists at such a young age. I have been given so many opportunities throughout my career so far and I couldn’t be more grateful. My debut single “Fallin” was just released on the 25th on all streaming platforms and I have been overwhelmed with support around the country! I can’t wait for what 2021 has in store!!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
For the most part, I have had a pretty smooth path towards a music career. I’d say my biggest setback as any emerging artist was everything getting shut down because of COVID-19. I was fortunate to be able to do virtual projects and lives, but nothing beats a live show!! But during that isolation time, I really poured myself into my songwriting and that’s when I wrote my single “Fallin”!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a senior in high school and music is my job! I’m a southern rock singer/songwriter. I’m known for my sultry tone and musicality. I’m most proud of my first single “Fallin”! I’ve been moving forward with my career and I couldn’t do it without my awesome team from Ablaze Entertainment!

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is family. I have a very big, loving, and supportive family. Without their encouragement, I don’t think I would have made it thus far. Their support matters most to me and I’m so grateful to have such a wonderful family.
