Life and Work with Greg Papania

Today we’d like to introduce you to Greg Papania.

Greg, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started in the music industry in the early 2000s as an intern at Sony Music New York. From there, I moved out to LA and became a studio assistant at Westlake Studios. Through dedication to craft and a smile I became a recording engineer for many industry acts such as Snoop Dogg, Patty LaBelle, Amy Winehouse, and many more. As I honed my skills, I eventually took on the role of mixer and producer. I’ve worked on numerous TV shows and feature films and have written many hours of music since. Having a foot in the world of metaphysics, science, meditation, and yoga I always experimented with how music positively affected me and others and how it could be a tool to balance our mind, body, and spirit throughout our daily lives. That lead me to creating SINES.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road’s had many potholes–many failures and many successes, but I’ve always had the perseverance to keep going and keep expanding. I didn’t always trust I was being guided in the right direction. At times, it felt I wasn’t in control of the outcomes of various situations but eventually I realized everything is happening FOR us instead of TO us. In the failures there are lessons that help us grow and refine so we may find and savor the gold we desire and are destined to share with the world. It’s important for young folks to try lots of things, take many jobs and follow your heart. Through experience is where we truly learn, not in the mind. So, go out and experience. Stay positive, grateful, confident, and humble. Listen, learn, be diligent, ask questions and align yourself with those you feel good with and serve your higher purpose. Don’t settle and go directly after what you desire.

Please tell us about SINES.
SINES is a multi-faceted union of music and technology that brings mood harmonizing sound to the modern world—promoting balance, engagement, creativity, relaxation, meditation, and productivity.

We live in an over-stimulating world where relaxing and concentrating can be challenging, but is of the utmost necessity in our high stress lives. When your mind and body are calm, you can achieve anything at its high potential. Like a well-trained ninja, you can rest easy, focus easily, and create all in an equanimous mindset and mood.

Your mind controls your entire body and mood. Your mood controls how you engage and experience the world. You control your mind – you control your life and experiences.

Our headphones have 49 hours of onboard music and binaural tones split between seven positive mood states a person would like to be in during any day. No apps or external devices are needed to use our headphones and enjoy our mood balancing music. Our mobile and web apps extend the features of our headphones.

The experience we’ve created at SINES allows the usage of mood harmonizing music and tones to be simple and easy for anyone, any age, any level of technological experience. We wish through balancing your mind, body, and mood that you can engage positively with all that life brings you and live from your heart.

Often it feels as if the media, by and large, is only focused on the obstacles faced by women, but we feel it’s important to also look for the opportunities. In your view, are there opportunities that you see that women are particularly well positioned for?
Vast opportunities… any and ALL opportunities. I love women… I love strong, intelligent, creative, thriving women! If no one else wants them I’ll take all of them for my company. Having a male and female presence in creative projects, in a business, for conscious-elevating universal messaging and reach is very important to ensure alternate perspectives where energy produced from another divine source weaves and crafts what is inherently harmonious with our dualistic universe and thus the masculine and feminine.
