Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road for me to get to this point. When I chose to get into this field, meditation and mindfulness were not yet mainstream. I kept at it because I found my calling to share the message of meditation and mindfulness. And slowly, through time, science and society’s knowledge are beginning to understand the profound benefits of this field. We are now at a point where “personal development” is not so “personal” anymore.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am the founder of The Mindfulness Expo, which takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center. It is an event with workshops and exhibitors in the fields of mindfulness and wellness.
I believe behind every mindfulness and wellness product, business, speaker and coach is a profound message of healing; of bringing quality to the lives of others. And with The Mindfulness Expo, my aim is to make sure those messages are shared and felt by everyone in attendance.
It is an event of unity. We are all wired differently, but we are all trying to walk the best path in this life. And knowing we are not alone during this path and sharing it with others is of utmost importance to our journey.
The Mindfulness Expo is a community filled with healing tools and life skills.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
What I have known for a long time was felt by all during Covid-19: Our mental health carries us through our life, so it’s important to take care of our mind, just as much as it’s important to take care of our bodies.
Knowing how to deal with fear and the unknown will help us maneuver through life with much more ease.
I believe just as important as bodily health is, so is mental health, and the pandemic showed us that.
