Inspiring Conversations with Michael Perrotta of Bellucci, Palms & Carmichael Publishing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Perrotta.

Hi Michael, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my boutique publishing house, Bellucci, Palms & Carmichael Publishing, LLC in 2016 and in a short period of time, have published works for more than six authors. We are renowned for our personalized literary fiction, non-fiction, poetry, as well as trade and mass market publications.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I had other business in Manhattan, New York and I took those early growing pains and tried to avoid them when I created Bellucci, Palms & Carmichael Publishing in Los Angeles six years ago. One learns from past experiences and therefore this was much smoother than those prior businesses.

As you know, we’re big fans of Bellucci, Palms & Carmichael Publishing, LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
BPC’s authors have won numerous important Italian literary awards. A substantial part of our portfolio is created by authors from both sides of the Atlantic. Our works cover a variety of literary genres to suit the tastes of a wide audience of readers. Our authors include such present-day literary stars as Oliver Sims and Max Deveraux known for their popular crime fiction and Michela Mercuri known for her interpreting fantasy and mythological short stories.

In addition, we represent the late Anthony A. Perrotta with his ever interesting coming-of-age novels and his recently discovered sci-fiction works, soon to be published.

Elisabeth Lovini’s “endless love” trilogy with her first published “Intramontabile Amore” translated into English with the title: “Everlasting Love”.

And my own novels based on “the twin soul”, which everyo0ne of us is forever searching in our life’s journey.

I’m mostly proud of my 2nd novel “The Old Seagull and the Tide-walker”, since it was translated into Italian, Spanish, Russian and just this past January into French.

But I’m mostly proud of Harold Lewis’ textbooks on film finance which set a new standard in understanding this interesting subject. He will be teaching “The Program in Film Finance” this summer session in June 2022 at UCLA.

What’s next?
My novel “The Wedding Dress in Pink Ostrich Feather” is the first part of my erotic trilogy. This was written in first person from the voice of the female protagonist. Now, I have finished and editing the 2nd part, where I have written it from the voice of the male protagonist and hope to publish it by the fall of this year.
