Inspiring Conversations with Meghan Tarry of In 2 On Consulting

Today we’d like to introduce you to Meghan Tarry.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my business as a side hustle in 2009 to help people get organized physically and digitally as that was just something I was naturally good at and it morphed into what it is now. In 2019, I was beyond burnt out in an extremely toxic corporate job and I decided to take the leap and launch In 2 On Consulting as my full-time job and redirected my focus to be on small businesses and solopreneurs getting their systems cleaned up and set up for maximum efficiency!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely been a roller coaster as most businesses are. I launched full time in the end of 2019 and then March 2020 happened and the world shut down and most of my client’s offices were shut down as I was working with some law firms. My business was basically closed from March until September 2020 when I relaunched and have been running since. My biggest struggle is getting people to understand what I do and how I can help them but thankfully my word-of-mouth referrals have carried me through and continue to bring in new clients.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about In 2 On Consulting?
In 2 On Consulting helps business owners shift from working in their business to on their business. I come in and do a full systems audit and determine what programs and processes you have in place and figure out if they are serving you well or not. If not, I find you alternatives, set them up for you, transfer any of your data from your previous programs and then train you on how to use them. That is what sets me apart from most consultants out there, I don’t just give advice, I roll up my sleeves and actually do the implementation for you, tailor it to your actual business needs, set up automation for your workflows and then provide the training and support so you can continue using it going forward. I love what I do because with each client I am able to visibly see the relief they get in regaining control and time over their backend operations which frees them up to do what they love!

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I think more and more businesses are realizing the need for switching their operations to be digital and cloud-based so I see a huge need in getting people adjusted.
