Inspiring Conversations with AO

Today we’d like to introduce you to AO.

Hi AO, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My back story started when I was around three years old. When I was sexually abused by a family member(s) that continuously went on until I was in my mid teens. I was also physically and mentally tormented by the very ones who were supposed to protect me. I was raised in a perpetuated system that turned a blind eye to kids like me. All the teachers saw was a kid who could not sit still long enough in class to figure out what the right answer was to a specific problem. I was labeled as the kid who struggled to listen and pay attention to save her life. What people didn’t know was that I was battling all of these internal struggles of feeling like a motherless child and just having to deal with all of this trauma on my own. I did the best I could and it has lead me to where I am today. I am 31 years old and in the middle of creating platforms for other children and young adults to tell their stories and not be ashamed or embarrassed by it. My story is deep and will resonate with many, but I just want everyone to know that I have been lead by unwavering faith and that faith alone has carried me through hell and back, I am finally here to tell my story, but most of all create domestic and global opportunities for the ones like myself, who did not get the chance to be great earlier in their life, because society told them no. I will speak for the underdogs, the ones who people turned a blind eye to, not because they are inadequate, but because they are so great others are afraid of their potential.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
My journey has been everything but smooth. After my father passed in 2008, I moved to Oklahoma for college and lived seven years there. I worked as a social worker, Homeland security, Janitor, you name it. I did it! Except for flipping burgers, I always wanted to do that but did not have the chance. I moved back to California in 2015 but moved to Los Angeles, CA where I did not personally know anyone. I went to fulfill this God-given vision to create opportunities for people like me who did not have a chance to speak up on their own behalf. I faced constant homelessness and sometimes not able to eat a full meal on a daily basis. I went through an experience that if I had to do it all over again, I would. It built great character and also kept me humble. People have always said my life is chaos, but to me it was all necessary to go through so that I can fully enjoy and appreciate this next level of my life and career.

We’ve been impressed with AO Network, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
AO Network is a conglomerate of Media, Broadcasting, Music and other personal individual industry entities. I am building my own empire to cover all things that is dear to me from my spiritual journey. I am known as the one who can connect people and connect the dots, but most importantly none of that can happen until the spiritual and physical realm can conspire together on behalf of my name. I only work with certain energies when it comes to AO and I am most proud of the way I am building this. The way I am building is most important because it tells a vivid story of AO as all is aligned in specific ways. I want the readers to know that many opportunities/jobs in television, film and music are on the way via the platforms we create. I also want the readers to know that I am not just building any of this to be cool or to make money, but it’s literally my life’s mission and I won’t stop or sleep until it is all manifested as originally intended.

What makes you happy?
Living my life as I want and not bothering anyone or anyone bothering me. Creating in general makes me happy and seeing others smile and do the same for their own lives.
