Inspiring Conversations with Adrienne Luedeking of Fruitfully Alive

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrienne Luedeking.

Hi Adrienne, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I moved to Los Angeles to become an actor. I didn’t have a car so I didn’t want to commute to work and I looked into opportunities to work from home. I became a proofreader and in my first month made a full-time income on part-time hours. My life changed after that. I fell in love with online entrepreneurship and being my own boss.

I loved the security, stability, freedom, and flexibility of having clients and designing my days. People started asking me how they could become online freelancers, too. Fruitfully Alive became an answer to that question. I have long since left proofreading behind to run Fruitfully Alive, a six-figure company which helps women become successful online freelancers so they can work from home. I help women build businesses like proofreading, bookkeeping, virtual assistance, writing, etc. I love what I do.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Building my business has been the most difficult thing I’ve ever done. One of the biggest struggles for me was making my way through the unknown. It’s hard enough to just have to work, but to have to learn and then implement, learn and then implement, is a double whammy. It takes a lot out of you because learning takes energy and doing takes energy and you need to do both when you’re building an online business for the first time. But it’s been the most rewarding and freeing thing I’ve ever done. I work part-time hours…

We’ve been impressed with Fruitfully Alive, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Fruitfully Alive is your guide toward freedom through freelancing. It’s known for helping people achieve security and stability by empowering and guiding them through the stages needed to build a thriving online freelance business. It’s amazing to see so many people go through the program and have such incredible results. You begin not knowing how to even get started, only knowing that you want this freedom and flexibility in your life. You end when you have multiple clients and are bringing in a steady income and are able to design your days. I am so passionate about that lifestyle that it makes me equally passionate to share that with others and teach them how they can have it, too.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
Laura Phillips at Launch and Thrive has been an incredible business mentor. She’s a genius and has been instrumental in helping me reach six figures in my business.
