Today we’d like to introduce you to Nineveh Cannavino.
Hi Nineveh, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
After a profound experience at 40 years of age, I became very aware I was either CRAZY or may be gifted. It wasn’t until I sought out a Psychic who happened to do medium readings that I understood I may be a Medium too. I was not ready to admit it for a while. I was in complete denial. It was within the course of weeks that every memory and experience I have had since birth, that no one could understand or relate to, were indeed Spiritual and otherworldly experiences. I could vividly recall experiences at the young age of four. How do I know this? Because I would blurt out things on people’s thoughts instinctively, especially my mother. I must say, it scared her half out of her wits most days. One of the few things I was reminded of when I got older was that those in Spirit speak to one another with energy but it’s a type of telepathic thought. Now, I’m bringing this up because as a child, it’s natural and intrinsic, and quite normal to respond to someone speaking to you in your mind, in your head, or even to someone overtly in your mind’s eye as a third person visually in front of you.
As a child, you don’t question these things and you are not really afraid. It isn’t until you get older that you become aware that it is only you seeing things and hearing things and knowing things others do not see, hear, and know! Let’s be clear. I said telepathic thought in my first sentence back there. That’s how you are going to communicate when you die. In other words, it is not the way, a living person is speaking to a dead person. It is the way the deceased person’s energy speaks to the other deceased person’s energy. Thus, when your soul crosses over to the other side, you will be able to blend your energy imprint of you and all your knowledge (selective) with another or several others. Everything is transparent.
They will be able to know you, feel you, hear you. As you will be able to do the same with them. They will and You will experience events, memories from both viewpoints simultaneously, yours and theirs as they are speaking (I use speaking loosely-there is no vocal cord here) in thought, and you are experiencing a replay of the memory they wish to share. It’s like a 360-degree experience. A shared experience, like it, was you but knowing you are separate, feeling their experience, seeing their memory, as they communicate to you all simultaneously. You will feel and be them, while still being you. If you think about it, the true empath is this way.
It’s incredible and none of my words can describe it accurately for anyone unless you experience it yourself or better still, remember it. This is all happening in Heaven. This is the reality of you in this place when your energy (soul) crosses over to it. Time does not exist and it is a state of being. No aging here, just knowledge, experiences to be had, and made, all simultaneous with those experiences already made. It’s fluid and all at the same space. Immediate. It sounds complicated I know. But the truth is always complicated. My words do not justify the explanation of this existence enough. But I know, we all return to it and originate from it.
By the time I was a teenager, I was troubled and blocked it out somewhat. I was shown and reminded of this existence at age 40, an existence from before I was born. I already knew this as a child. However, my family absolutely freaked out every time I said or did anything, that revealed my gifts. Only to have my spiritual guides, whom I used to term “Angels” based on my religious background, constantly show me events and pivotal points in my life years before they would come to pass. They would also inform me, that certain choices would yield certain results. Yes, folks, they were that involved but, I still tried to ignore them. However, a dear friend and love of mine died. He came to see me, in dreams and in waking life almost every other day for quite some time. He still visits today, in waking life, and in dreams. It was during this time that I then, became aware that I am a Medium. I sought out other mediums to help practice. Only to have them tell me as affirmation, you are Medium. But this love of mine who had died and my guides (Angels), gave me the advanced tutorial way before I started to practice. They showed me what I already knew how and what to do.
They tried their very best to speed-track 20 years of my ignorance. I was told, you are not doing what you were intended to do. So, why do I do this Medium stuff? Because years ago, I made a promise to myself and to this loved one who passed away and paid me a visit. I promised, to pick myself up and start doing what I intended to do coming into this world. I promised to better my communication with him, but also, I wanted to take it one step further. I wanted “us” to go out there and help others. My team of guides all agreed; and even others stepped forward to assist me, a concentrated effort to help others feel this connectivity, this love from beyond the veil that truly exists. From Heaven to Earth, from their beloved ones who are with God (the divine, the universal energy, call it what you will), to show them that we are all connected and that Love prevails and continues.
That the bond of love is never broken. Not ever. Death does not disconnect the bond or the telephone to them. If we can help one person at a time, it’s enough. That person should then go forward and help others also believe in this love. It is why I do, what I do today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
On the journey or Spiritual side of it, it has been a smooth road. I must say, doors would open seamlessly everywhere I would turn or decide actions. However, unfortunately, on the physical side of it, of this reality and world, I found that the struggle exists in those individuals deep-rooted in their religious and/or cultural beliefs, regardless of the religious backgrounds. Backgrounds and belief systems thousands of years old, and well, condemning or ostracizing what I know and believe from what I was shown and taught by the ethereal. This condemning and ostracizing behavior includes my extended and some immediate family members and most friends. They would rather choose segregation, hate, and fear that disfranchises friends and loved ones due to their belief system than allow love to prevail across generations of beliefs systems and cultures.
Respectfully, I understand, that religion and cultures can unite and help people, even teach them ethics, kind behavior, and morality. However, what I do not understand is allowing these belief systems and languages and cultures to segregate people. Meaning, there are those in our world, not just beautiful California, that use these differences not to heal people but to harm them or ex-communicate them from groups, cultures, societies, and family. I do not believe; this segregation should be the case. I believe that Higher Source, or what we term as God, that Love emanating from Source (which I feel when connection is made to them) should prevail among the masses of people. If I was to say one thing to anyone it would be: Do not harm another person not by thoughts, or words, or actions. Do not label them, do not pit people up against each other due to their sexual orientation, religion, belief system, culture, race or color of skin, or views on any subject. Please choose to see them beyond all the physical blockages. These physical differences stay here on planet Earth when you die, all the while when your Soul goes “home” to what we would term as Heaven. See the person, see the soul within.
Please choose Love above all matters. If someone doesn’t see something your way, it’s okay; Just let it go. As an example, this is just one simple example, right here in California, I made a call to a photographer who was recommended to shoot some photos of me for publicity and social media. The moment he heard I was a Medium, a Psychic Medium, he immediately informed me that he does not do business with Psychic Mediums and that it was against his religious beliefs. Respectfully, I said, “no problem”. And in actuality, I did not care and promptly found another photographer. Consequently, my point is, this person, and not so different than other individuals in various ways, was choosing to avoid people like me, segregating and make choices. Rest assured, it may also occur for sexual orientation, other religious choices, color of skin, and/or cultures. It is a static, in today’s world that should not exist. Differences in people should make life fun and interesting, not metaphorically speaking, ” I’m here and your right past this line I created between us” or our borders. I don’t know about you. But the last time I checked, I had a heartbeat pulse, and I was a human being too.
So, the struggles you see, have everything to do with other viewpoints. If we look at social media, I am on TikTok and YouTube. Would you believe that there are too many people sending, commenting, and even attacking other people on there? For every reason imaginable, even people sighting their belief systems as a means of excluding others or teaching people to HATE. It’s unfortunate and sad. My struggles along the way, are small, in comparison to what I read and see. However, thank you for asking me. ~smiling over here. ~

The truth is I did technology sales for 12 years well before I did Medium work. I worked for companies such as IBM, ATT, and Sterling Commerce. I was even accepted into John Marshall Law School straight out of university in Chicago. I chose rather to do Business School and Loyola University Chicago- Water Tower Campus and hold an M.B.A. in Information Systems and E-Commerce. Today, however, I am an Evidential Medium, a Psychic as well. In addition, I hold a Master in Reiki Shiki Ryoho, which is a form of Spiritual Energy Healing. The Master’s Degree means I can teach it to others. I especially love to do Groups for Evidential Mediumship demonstrations. Basically, what you see famous people like Matt Fraser, John Edwards, Theresa Caputa, or Tyler Henry do. I will travel to conference and banquet rooms to do large groups for families and friends. I will even do this at your home or destination of choice. I prefer to connect people with their loved ones who have crossed over.
I even do fundraising for Spiritualist Churches (as well as, other groups) around the world. I am currently offering my services in a fundraiser for a church group out of Canada. This can be seen on my website. Aside from all that, I teach mediumship and psychism at Oakbridge Institute, a Metaphysical School, created by Michael Mayo, who mentored me for several years before I decided to put my skillset (if you will) to use for the Public. I also do dream interpretations, coffee cup readings (known globally as Tasseography), and Aura Color Readings. I guess you’d say, I may be well-rounded Spiritually speaking, Currently, right now, I am in the process of writing a book. It explains Spirituality in a way not seen before.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Yes of course I have advice for finding a mentor or networking in general. When it involves mediumship, I would recommend you go to the individual(s) that you resonate with, those that make you feel safe, secure, and are kind to you. Not everyone will resonate or like every mentor out there. We all have different energies and will gravitate towards those people similar to us and will make us feel good, which in turn creates trust. For me, it was Michael Mayo and Eileen Davies to name a few. Eileen is in Scotland, whereas Michael is local to California in Orange County. There are many others out there. I wish you to find them. I have a list actually.
