Exploring Life & Business with Neece Grier of Potatoe Island

Today we’d like to introduce you to Neece Grier.

Hi Neece, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started making loaded baked potatoes a few years ago for a fundraiser for my aunt’s funeral, and I received excellent feedback and this feedback inspired me to start attempting to sell loaded potatoes on the weekends to my community and close friends. As I noticed the popularity from the sales of my potatoes, I then decided to make selling potatoes into a business which is known as Potatoe Island.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
For the most part, running Potatoe Island has been a success because I have had a lot of support from the community, friends, and family.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We want the world to know that we serve the best loaded baked potatoes around. Potatoe island specializes in our “secret sauce” and we are also known for our two most popular potatoes which are the Shake ‘N’ Bake and the Under The Sea Lobster tail. Potatoe Island caters all major events that include pop up shops, office events, and catering parties. When it comes to my brand, I am most proud about the expansion of my business.

How do you define success?
Success can be defined as putting in long hours of hard work while being fully dedicated to your passion. Success can be also measured as completing goals and obstacles that are designated.
