Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Allen.

Hi Amanda, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Teen mom to business owner, from Toronto to Los Angeles; To say my journey was easy would be an understatement. Passionate about providing a legacy for my son and family, I knew that no task was too small.

Making the choice to pack up my belongings into my VW Cabriolet (at the time), cross country drives three days with $350 in my account was not a light-hearted decision. But one I felt was needed at the time and I don’t regret it. Gratefully, I had family who looked out and met some encouraging friends who introduced me to the LA way of life.

Connecting and building strong relationships has been the cornerstone of all my career paths from bartending, fashion/entertainment, public relations and now real estate. I started in the (real estate) industry as an assistant to several agents in 2015. A year later, became a buyer’s agent for a small team. And now happy and excited to approach my 6th year anniversary (January 4) of selling while starting my own boutique brokerage.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

Getting stuck in the other people’s perception of me, I feel has been the biggest struggle. Yet the catalysis for my path, from taking care of a child when most people said I shouldn’t, working with people or industries when many said I couldn’t, and investing in my own instead of assisting in other’s growth when people thought I wouldn’t.

Allowing people to keep you in a box of what they think you should do or who you are, doesn’t leave room for your full potential or desires. But it’s amazing how situations/events will remind you of your true path and force you to make a choice; Will it be you or them? Choose you! Because if you love it, then you live it and will be inspired to share it with others around.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My philosophy is simple: clients come first. It is about representing a new version of real estate. My business is a referral-based company as I look at the client-agent relationship not as selling someone something but on creating an experience and being a trusted real estate source that can help manage client’s assets and smartly build new ones.

I’ve worked countless hours serving clients, family, friends and brands to achieve their personal & business goals. I strive to give everyone their `rockstar’ treatment by making the buying/selling experience worth telling their family and friends. I am here to motivate, teach and inspire you to live a life harmoniously, with desire and passion as I have done with my own. And I believe that that starts with your home. My heart is in connecting with people who embody the same realness, vigilance and optimism I’ve provided my clients. Trusting that I will be your real estate advisor for life. Striving to be top of mind and #1 in serving my clients before, during and after every sale.

My commitment is also in building a better tomorrow. And giving back to the communities I work and live in is the foundation of my business. As a client, you are not only supporting my business but you are also helping those in need. A portion of all commissions made will be donated to our future generations.

I was born in Los Angeles but raised in Canada. Daughter of a CFL Hall a Famer and niece to a NFL Hall a Famer. Football is life (lol)!
