Daily Inspiration: Meet The Black Bon Jovi

Today we’d like to introduce you to The Black Bon Jovi.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
The story all began several years ago when my Aunt was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and I became her caregiver due to her not being able to afford insurance at the time. Back then I always attempted to give her positive affirmations until one day she said I sounded like her favorite artist, The Great Bon Jovi! When I discovered who he is I instantly became a fan and looked up to him as my role model hoping to one day meet him and make a song together! When my Aunt died, I became very passionate about reaching out to the lives in need and turning frowns into smiles for those who are suffering. Today I have accomplished that with my methods of fighting cancer such as putting together celebrity fundraisers in local communities and performing at charity events.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My challenge has been maintaining the support and having those close to me be able to see the vision I have with the lives I have impacted today especially those who have issues acquiring health insurance.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in making music for those who are suffering as well as by utilizing my connections with celebrities in the music industry to work together with community leaders and residents to raise money for a worthy cause. One of my favorite accolades has to be when I partnered up with the American Cancer Society due to my Aunt’s situation. It was that moment in my career that I felt I made my mark and enabled me to become the artist I am today. What separates me from the rest is the ability my vision and sound have to raise awareness and uplift the spirits of those that are struggling or in need.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
My inspiration comes from William Shakespeare’s books because I can relate to many of them. One of my favorite books by him is Macbeth and The Love story of Romeo & Juliet.
