Daily Inspiration: Meet Terrell Harris

Today we’d like to introduce you to Terrell Harris.

Hi Terrell, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story has started since I was young I had seizures and I wanted to make a change to others and show them that it’s okay to be the underdog cause I’m always the underdog. People told me I wouldn’t graduate high school and I’ll just be McDonald. I like to think of life like a game of basketball there are winners and losers but it depends on are you willing to show up. I love to support and I wanted to make a difference in kid’s life and all kids with seizures. Like we all color the world but you gotta understand my story coming from where I am and who I become. I started doing music 🎶 and playing basketball that has started me in my life and now I’m a supervisor at Tim Hortons working two jobs and just grinding all my life.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s always struggled all along the way like I said my seizures were obstacles. Losing my grandma was also a big hit but I take my struggles and write them into my story. Being different never has changed me I love the people I hang with I love who I am, imma continue to fight my demons.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Man, I’m an artist. I love what I do. I love my music and try to inspire kids to be different and be themselves because I’m known for that. I’m known to be an inspiration and I want to best and well-known.

What sets me apart from others is my passion and drive to push myself to be the best version I can be and do what I love to create.

What I’m most proud of is I’m proud of the young man I’m becoming and I can’t wait till I continue through this game called life and make to the finish line.

How do you think about luck?
The role that played in my life is the role it’s a bad role: as a young kid I wanted to be accepted by others I was tired of being the outcast and tired of being behind the scenes.

Good luck is to have people who believe in me who stayed by my side like my mom my biggest inspiration. I always got her nerves but you know the biggest inspiration to me becoming who I am is my mother and l love her because of it.
