Daily Inspiration: Meet Eryn Hartzog

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eryn Hartzog.

Hi Eryn, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Since I was younger, I thoroughly enjoyed food. As I became a preteen, I began watching my mother in the kitchen eager to learn how to prepare my favorite meals myself. By the time I was out of high school, I was adding my own touches to my food. Taking pride in details like plating. Mimicking all the things I had watched on food network. My friends had always told me I should become a chef. The pandemic gave me time to really get cooking and get really creative with my food dishes. I incorporated the experiences I have had in fine dining and travels into my food and my services!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has been a decent process, some obstacles I have faced have only been personal. Just me learning my worth in this business and sticking to it.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Private Chef, Event caterer.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory would have to be my mom being off every other Friday from work, on this Friday she would take me to get Mcdonald’s and allow me to play before she dropped me off to school! It was always cool to go to school after that.
