Daily Inspiration: Meet Dhruvin Bhadani and Maitri Shah

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dhruvin Bhadani and Maitri Shah.

Hi Dhruvin & Maitri, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My and my wife’s (Maitri Shah) journey of Content Creation and excelling in personal life in terms of relationship, career, and real estate started after my wife moved to the USA in 2019. First of all, a bit about ourselves, I am an Electrical Engineer by profession and by passion I am a choreographer. My wife is a Computer Engineer, but for the past four years, she has been working for her passion which is content writing. In 2019 December, she leaped faith and started creating motivational content on social media platforms, her long-term desire. After the pandemic hit the world, my wife and I together started creating funny content with only one intention of making people smile more and worry less. Whatever we share on our social media platforms is about how we naturally are. In February 2019, my wife flew down from India to the USA to stay with me, and in March 2019, I got laid off from my job. That phase changed our perspective towards life and financial stability. I found a job in Los Angeles in April 2019, and I had to travel 4 hours a day for the job. That 4-hour drive opened my doors to real estate. I explored everything about the real estate world by listening to podcasts in my 4 hours long drive. The next step was to teach my wife about real estate; she started reading real estate books and soon was ready to take the plunge.

We got our first property in October 2019, and now we own two rental properties and an air bnb. This was about how we started getting into building financial stability for ourselves and which we have also shared on YouTube for people to learn that real estate is not that hard; all you need to do is learn and network. Now, talking about content creation on social media platforms, my wife had been creating motivational content since December 2019; the back story of her taking that step is because she was hit by depression right before moving to the USA in 2019 January, her phase was intense, she was into major self-doubt zone, and well actually that curse was a blessing for her as she finally broke the walls and got out of it and started sharing her experiences with only one intention of making people believe in themselves. Pandemic was again a life-changing experience for us as we both got to know each other more, and we started respecting each other more. More to it, our days were more about how can we find fun in small moments. And funny content that we now regularly share on social media happened to us very naturally, so we thought of just sharing it out and seeing how people react to it. So, that’s how we got into content creation and real estate apart from our primary occupation.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. In two years of living as a couple together, I have had two lay-off’s and lay off on a work visa are very different. Whereas my wife, after having been diagnosed with depression in February 2019, though we got her medication done, kept on getting phases of depression and self-doubts for a year. Also, putting out personal life on social media demands a lot of inner positivity and that somehow kept on affecting us for some months.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Myself: By profession, Electrical Engineer, recently got my PE license, which I am very proud of. My passion as a choreographer, people know me more because of my dance videos. And I also love to network with people who have done extraordinarily in their fields; some do know me here as a networking guy.

My wife: By profession, freelance IT project manager, and a passionate content writer and content creator
