Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Vizcarra.
Hi Daniel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was born & raised in South Los Angeles, where I grew up with both of my brothers to immigrant parents from Durango, Mexico. Despite the environmental challenges, we were raised to be respectful and work diligently towards our achievements in life, ranging from the smallest task to the BFAG [Big Fat Audacious Goal]
Ever since I was a teen, I have been obsessed with technology – I would take devices apart just to understand the inner workings and ’til this day, I learn new software & implement the latest technology in my business. I come from an Information Technology background where I have a Network Engineering degree along with Microsoft & Cisco Networking Certifications. This understanding has helped me push my business forward in certain aspects as well as delegate certain tasks due to automation.
I have dealt with complex situations, but I must say that starting & operating a business that you’re attempting to scale is one of the greatest challenges I’ve faced. Many wonder why I chose an industry that’s not computer-related such as Web Design, etc. – the reason is that most entrepreneurs don’t want to get their hands dirty and simply want a quick cash-grab online, I don’t – I want to build a business that feels tangible.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
To quote Theodore Roosevelt “Nothing worth having comes easy”
It definitely has not been a smooth road but that’s expected for any business that hopes to scale.
There is no shortage of challenges, there will never NOT be any challenges. You may very well be a 5M+ business and you will still face challenges, just at a different scale.
One of the hardest struggles that I still deal with ’til this very day is FOCUS.
Being an entrepreneur means that there’s no one “on your back” which is a drawback if you’re not pushing yourself for accountability.
Seeking out like-minded people/groups helps tremendously with accountability and helps you push through struggles.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
