Daily Inspiration: Meet Carlos Franco

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carlos Franco.

Hi Carlos, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I work for Elias Produce. Which is our family business that started in 1990 by my father. We’re known for our strawberries. I started our IG page back in 2015 and thankfully, we’ve grown a nice loyal following. Every year on Valentine’s Day, we have a line for people waiting to buy strawberries to dip in chocolate.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s great working with family. But it can also be challenging when they aren’t so open to new ideas and changes.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m most proud of our social media and what we have accomplished. Every year Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day we have a big line throughout a couple of dates for strawberries. I’m not afraid to be different and I’m always up for a challenge.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Always be genuinely kind to everybody. Always have a positive attitude. Even when your tired. Make sure you make someone happy. Also, meet as many people as you can and always say good morning.
