Daily Inspiration: Meet Brittany Hagerty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Hagerty.

Hi Brittany, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My whole life, I’ve been working with artists and creatives in one way or another. I started a music journalism site at 16 and went on my first tour at 17 because I knew that I was destined to be involved with the industry on a grand scale. Not only was I living the same lifestyle and relating on every level possible, but I truly cared about my role. After years of living in LA, and wearing many hats, Upon connecting with so many people, identifying our behaviors and habits, I realized that the real change begins with the mindset. With that realization, I started digging deeper into consciousness, the healing arts, and my own unique gifts. After diving in for about three years, I have now married the two realms by bringing Think Outside and its many facets to the industry and world at large. I am now about to be Reiki certified so that I can infuse all that I do with Reiki energy healing! I would say my main focus at the moment is to keep growing my reach to larger workshops and consistent events here in LA and beyond. To really tap deeper into the industry and gain some new musician and artist clients! I also am excited to start launching events in LA and ideally grow them into larger events and festivals. Overall, my mission is to anyone who meets me or resonates with me to see me in my truth, and in return come back home to themselves.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I have come FAR but have faced MANY struggles along the way in the industry and even in the spiritual communities. I would say my biggest struggles have been with my self-worth and identity…so mostly my own blockages and fears coming up. Being a woman in a male-driven industry of touring was also not easy as there is a ton of sexism, and I personally faced threats from powerful people who tried to manipulate me at times. I also have faced a lot of financial challenges throughout my entire life which has taught me to be super financially independent and truly value my success and financial progress…but it also made survival through the years not as easy. I had to accept times of extreme feast and famine and honor the seasons. My determination and passion would always persevere even when my mental health or physical health was low…that fire within has never gone out fully. In the spiritual communities, there can be a lot of projection and ego present which can be very misleading and intimidating so it’s super important to stand your ground and honor your needs…TRUST YOUR GUT ALWAYS…

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I like to say I am a jack of all trades because I can pretty much be thrown into anything and find success within it. I currently am wearing the hat of intuitive healer, transformational coach & guide, soon-to-be reiki practitioner, and event host & curator. I have created a powerful community focused on mental health and wellness called Think Outside where like-minded people get to connect deeper and be seen and loved for who they really are. Within that community, there are Facebook groups, my podcast, workshops, events, merchandise, and tons of social content. I am SO proud of the workshops and events because I get to really be SEEN in my truth and reflect that back to others, and the human connection and intimacy just fill my heart…all while having fun! I can’t wait to create even more activating retreats, events, and festivals soon! I think what sets me apart is how intricate and unique my story is with the industry background, my high profile layers but most importantly the fact that I can connect with a stranger so immediately and deeply. People just have always had an easy time connecting with me and opening up while seeing how genuine and heart-focused I am.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I am always on the prowl for new 1:1 clients for coaching, healings, reiki, and tarot. I will be launching “Pay What You Can” Group Coaching soon so stay tuned! I also am looking for new faces to have on my podcast from healers, entrepreneurs to rockstars and artists. I also am looking to host workshops, events, retreats, and big activations and festivals so if you are someone who is looking to co-host or has a space I can host at…please let me know!
