Daily Inspiration: Meet Almighty Lord Wrecka

Today we’d like to introduce you to Almighty Lord Wrecka.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started writing rhymes as a challenge between me and a best friend when I was 13. I noticed I was pretty good and just never put the pen down even as a college athlete at California Baptist University. Never letting go of my dream is what got me here today.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road. Early struggles were finding producers to work with and gaining the confidence to put my music out there.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
By day I’m the Head Coach Men and Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country for UNT-DALLAS. I started my coaching career during my senior year of college at Norco HS in Norco, CA. What sets me apart is my ability to motivate kids to perform at a level they don’t think is possible. I’m most proud of getting a kid signed to a scholarship and giving them the opportunity to chase their dreams.

What matters most to you? Why?
Self-respect and family matter the most to me because that’s what keeps you motivated and how you’ll be remembered.
