Conversations with Tutti Diez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tutti Diez.

Hi Tutti, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m an Argentinian singer, guitarist and composer. Born and raised in Buenos Aires. Have been making music for a long time. Had a band called TENN for a long time in which we played in big festivals and toured all along Argentina. Now I’m working on my solo album. Released two singles, ‘Lights’ (featuring Stroke 9 singer Luke Esterkyn) and I Want You Back’. I’m gonna be releasing IWYB video soon this month and continue working on the album that will be called ‘Handle With Care’ which is really personal and fragile.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a tough road, still is. Lots of happy moments and lots of sad moments. Pass through a lot above the years, like everybody does. The industry is hard and you get frustrated a lot but as a passionate and lover of music and art, can’t see myself doing another thing!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I basically write music, produce, play guitar and sing. Working on my solo album right now after playing with lots of bands, which I think it’s pretty challenging doing all by myself and starting over, it’s a brand new world, but proud of it. Proud of the road I made, the people I met in this journey, the experiences, the music and the things I achieved so far which aren’t super big but the best is yet to come! And first of all, my dad was a big fan of me, never missed a show, he passed away and I want to make him proud because I know he’s watching me and helping me. He inspired me and inspires me a lot

What was your favorite childhood memory?
All related with my family. Holidays, trips, etc. We are super close. I had an amazing childhood, full of love, generosity, friends, and education. Lucky to say, I always had everything, can’t complain about anything. Love my life, love my childhood. Love my family and friends, which are the family I chose. And all my childhood had a soundtrack. Always been surrounded with music.
