Conversations with Nael

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nael.

Hi NAEL, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
𝑀𝐼𝐷𝐷𝐿𝐸 𝐸𝐴𝑆𝑇𝐸𝑅𝑁 𝑆𝐻𝐴𝑃𝐸𝑆𝐻𝐼𝐹𝑇𝐸𝑅. I’m Nael or ( N β–² E L Ω†Ω€Ψ§Ψ¦Ω€Ω€Ω„ ) as people know me on Instagram, a shapeshifter and painter in social media, I was born in middle east in a desert poor area in Saudi before moving to LA, Which gave me a different look to the whole world and inspiration. As I realized that I am a different boy, I realized that each one of us is different but needs to discover that by himself and use it in a positive way, And everyone noticed my love to art. I chose to be a self tough beginner artist, Then joined university for studying foreign languages and literature. It’s tough to do art and to study literature at the same time,

But now I’m producing artistic makeup in my own way, By mixing facepaint with makeup, fashion and related philosophical lines to be a completed matched art.

One philosophical principle I made and believe in, says; β€œDon’t think about what they did and what you didn’t do, just think of what you did already, and what you want to do next, success depends on your own ambitions.” Meaning by that being a copy paste of others will not make you successful in your industry.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Yes, it has been a smooth road for me. Maybe because I work in silence and I let my artworks talk on behalf of me.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m mixing paint with makeup to produce artistic makeup, Or sometimes to transform into paranormal creatures, We don’t see this usually in middle east, but it’s beginning to happen. As a boy putting artistic makeup, I broke the rules and kept spreading peace on social media, I got huge support from Arabs and foreigners for this step.

I’m also a fashion lover. Adding fashion to artistic makeup gives a fashionable artwork as I believe. Fashion industry got interest in middle east in the last five years, And Arab fashion lovers are exploring and inspiring from this industry as I do.

I attached my own philosophical lines or beliefs which are related to the final artwork, you will notice that the philosophical lines expressing the post clearly on my blog on Instagram @naelsquad.

Since I studied foreign languages and literature, I realized that philosophy became a part of my artworks.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Another principle I believe in; actions speak louder than words.
