Today we’d like to introduce you to Lawrence Williams III.

Hi Lawrence, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
L’s Grill was created in September of 2020. We are a small business catering company located in the beautiful city of corona, serving all of the Inland Empire, Orange County & LA County.

We are members of the Corona Chamber of commerce since 2021.

We specialize in BBQ Style food, but am not limited to just bbq! All our meals are prepared carefully with the best food safety and sanitation procedures in place.

Our recipes are old school recipes with a new generation twist. My passion for cooking and grilling is present in every bite.

Aside from catering, we attend local community events (pop ups) in a variety of cities! This is how you can definitely get a first-hand experience of the backyard vibe that we bring to each event.

Each staff member is excited and knowledgeable in all of our dishes as well and specializing in the best customer service. Our top-selling item would definitely be the BBQ Smoked Ribs, that are tender and seasoned to perfection and glazed with bbq sauce. Try pairing that with Ms. Hattie’s Home Style Potato-salad or Ava’s Cheesy Mac n Cheese! Not to mention or Grilled Chicken Salads are Very popular as well, they are loaded with freshly cut veggies, topped with fire Grilled boneless skinless chicken breast.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
A few challenges of managing a small business is balancing all areas. I receive all orders, cook, serve, transport (Deliver) set up & breakdown events as well as managing expenses, sales, inventory, etc. These functions keep the business in motion, being organized & detailed definitely allows it to flow much smoother than it sounds.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What sets L’s Grill apart from other caterers is that I actually enjoy what I do! I love to serve and be of service to others. Specializing in great hospitality, as well as making sure the operational functions are in order and at 100% is what I am known for. Not too many young guys can cook, let alone use a Grill. It’s usually our fathers and uncles, but the new generation has it down pack. My customers love their meals & service!

Who else deserves credit in your story?
First Without God, all this would not be possible. Him putting a vision in my head & allowing it to manifest into what it is today is amazing. It’s all in his plan. He is leading my steps and ordering my direction along the way. Secondly, my mother. She is my biggest supporter. She is a helping hand when needed, she’s my teammate and is definitely a person I can depend on when needed.

Lastly, my close friends and family.

They are the ones who give input, feedback and support as well as my loyal customers! Everyone has made a huge impact in my operation. I appreciate everyone along the way who has ever purchased anything, donated, or sent words of encouragement.
