Today we’d like to introduce you to Glenn Shelhamer.

Hi Glenn, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I founded the Shelhamer Group with the promise of creating an outstanding experience for every client every time. Our mission is to improve people’s lives and help them have a little fun along the way.

Genuine curiosity coupled with wicked street smarts helped me find success in residential real estate. I’m in the top 5% of real estate brokers in the U.S, showcased in business publications, and seen on Bravo TV’s “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.”

Today, I owe Shelhamer Group’s continued success to our loyal clients. Referrals are the lion’s share of our business. And none of this is possible without my wife, children, vendors, and our agent partners.

Our team is a group of handpicked excellent realtors and skilled laborers. We love Los Angeles and we love real estate. We can’t wait to hear all about your story.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Heck no! I strap on a seatbelt. The road remains bumpy.

Every transaction and client is unique, and we learn something new every single deal. One of the secrets to my success is approaching situations with humility and gratitude.

The struggles and heartaches are growing pains. What doesn’t kill my spirit of zest for life does train my body and mind to be more tolerant. And the best example of humility is tolerance.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I don’t need to leave my personal space to be productive and thrive.

The daily ritual begins at 4:45 am. After a quick breakfast, I meditate and pray, and then head to the gym. I’m back at my desk ready to kick ass before 9 am. My life is designed in a way that affords me the freedom to work from home.

Our agents are in the field opening doors and managing inspections and much more. My specialty has evolved and fine-tuned through the years. Lately, our record-breaking sales speak for themselves. I simply share what works and what doesn’t work. What I say rings true to both our buyers and sellers.

Once I get you into a position to fully understand the market condition the answers will become obvious. You’ll intuitively start to understand that which use to baffle you.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I like to keep focused and make every minute count. A couple of books currently on my nightstand are Daily reflections and Never Split The Difference|Negotiate As If Your Life Depends On It.

I like the Calm App for meditation and DailyMail for current events.
