Conversations with Michelle C. Leek

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle C. Leek.

Michelle, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Irvine Moms launched in 2018 and has been such a wonderful endeavor. At the time, I had a job in L.A. and starting Irvine Moms allowed me to grow this Business and really dive deep into creating a platform that would allow me to work from home and be available to my family. That was incredibly important during that time.

Understanding that parents need an outlet where they can come together and get the latest information on neighborhood resources was important. Parenting is hard and sometimes you just need a strong community of like-minded parents to be your sounding board.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Learning to navigate unique ways to continue to do Business during the Pandemic has been challenging. You want to be sure to be covering relevant topics that are positive but the temperament of the Environment sometimes it can feel like stepping aside to ride the wave if you will and pick up in full steam once things settle. So right now, it feels like a challenge. This is where creativity leads the way and find fun collaborations!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?

I love our Community and really support our local businesses. I understand what it is like to start up a Business and work hard to be sure you sustain long term therefore, I can relate.
