Conversations with the Inspiring Talie Hartman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Talie Hartman.

Talie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am from Paris – France and I decided to move to the USA in 2013. Because it was time to do something different.

First stop was NYC. Favorite city in the world. We spent 3 years there working as a freelancer.

Then… after 3 years, LA. Here I am now. It’s been 2 years that I live here. It was not easy in the beginning, but after a short while, I fell in love with this city.

Now, I live here and I don’t know yet what will be the next city or country. 🙂

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Lucky me, it was a smooth road all the way long. No issues with visa, job, people. I was really lucky! I won’t say, you should follow your dream, I would say trust yourself and keep moving on anyhow.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into your business story. Tell us more about the business.
I work as a freelancer in production here – mostly for Dior Parfums. Any ads, any movies around Dior parfums, I am behind! 🙂 I can’t say more sorry! 🙂

Looking back on your childhood, what experiences do you feel played an important role in shaping the person you grew up to be?
Best brothers, sister, and parents ever.

Growing up in a big family like mine was a gift – I am the youngest and they all decided to live outside of France – Austria – Israel – USA – and the UK. I just wanted to live the same experiences as them.
