Conversations with the Inspiring Jennifer Cox

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Cox.

Jennifer, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started my blog back in 2015. Fashion has always been an inspiration of mine and has gotten many people to talk about my fashion, where I get them from, sales and my fashion inspiration. One of my friends encouraged me to start my own blog. I am a stay at home mom and I wanted any women to feel inspired by styles and confidence no matter what size you are. Every woman is beautiful inside and out and we can always empower women to do so and that what I wanted to start. I’m also a stay at home mom to three beautiful children and in between my blog, I also did my pregnancy styles, traveling, modeling, wife to my amazing husband, experiences such mom inspiration and loss. In my own way, I just wanted to inspire any stay at home mom to feel sexy and confident in themselves. Adding more topics to my blog was what I wanted to do and I just kept blogging since than. I am still going strong with my fashion/style blog and any mom can start there own fashion blog like myself. This blog gave me the confidence back.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been a hard road being able to juggle mom life, being a wife, taking care of my children and also my blog. I have had my hardest moments but I never gave up when I wanted too. For any young women or any women trying to start a blog, I say go for it. It is not an easy process or something you will easily get right off the bat but its hard work and you have to continue pushing yourself to get where you want to be. Encourage anyone dreaming on a dream. Women should empower all those around you no matter what.

What should we know about Fashion or knot blog? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am a fashion blogger, stylist, makeup junkie, traveler and food lover. I love searching for the greatest deals and also I love to inspire looks for any occasion or something casual. I’m most proud of the journey I started almost three years ago, I lost a lot of the baby weight and confident in myself and wanted to show moms out there they can do it and feel good. I got pregnant and even though that journey two years ago made me feel confident in styles and also keeping up with my viewers on how it’s like to be pretty and beautiful during and after pregnancy. So, just being confident is what I’m most proud of no matter in the stages I have been through so this is what separates me from others

Any other stories  you’d like to share or people you’d like to thank?
Yes I would like to thank my mom Ines. She always wanted the best for me and since I was small she has shown me how to style, sew things together and just enjoy a nice vacation with family. She has been my rock and let me be me. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have had the courage to start modeling and show who I really was such as style. You can say my mom really got me out of my shell because I have always been shy most of my young life. My mom is one of my hero’s; she has always worked for her family and  is a women who inspire to empower other women. You can  say I come from a very strong willed of women in my family. Lol.

It would be great to hear about any apps, books, podcasts or other resources that you’ve used and would recommend to others.
Favorite apps at the moment have to be Amazon, Instagram, Ulta, ZAFUL, like to know it, #nyxcosmetics, Pinterest (I am obsessed with that app that’s where I look for styles, designs for my house and kid style ideas). Right now, I am following a blogger names Lize Adele on YouTube, I love her how to stuff and the everyday mommy life, I also have a favorite Instagram blogger named Jennifer Reed, I really love her styles and her blog posts are amazing. She really inspires me as a blogger.
