Conversations with the Inspiring Alee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alee.

Alee, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I had ways wanted to be a fashion blogger, but I never had the courage to start. In 2017, I decided to upload my first post on Instagram and everything started to flow naturally. I love that this new hobby of mine combines so many things I love such as fashion, exploring nearby cities and photography.

Has it been a smooth road?
As I said before, the biggest obstacle was starting in the first place. I believe a lot of girls can relate to that because it is normal to feel like no one will be interested in your photos. Although, once you start posting and lose that fear you will start getting even more inspired when people start giving you positive feedback. My biggest piece of advice would be to be yourself and be confident. Embrace your uniqueness as that will set you apart from the rest.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into Atthealee story. Tell us more about the business.
Unlike many others, I am not a full-time blogger. I work at a nearby school district. I will be going back to school this May for my credential and Master’s Degree. In terms of blogging, I am very proud of my online clothing store. I am also very proud of all of the companies I have had the opportunity to partner with this past year. Lastly, I am very happy to be a part of a blogger group called, SoCal Blogger Babes.

For good reason, society often focuses more on the problems rather than the opportunities that exist, because the problems need to be solved. However, we’d probably also benefit from looking for and recognizing the opportunities that women are better positioned to capitalize on. Have you discovered such opportunities?
I personally feel that women are positioned for the same opportunities that men are. Sure, there are differences, but I have never felt that my gender has ever held me back from following my passions. I have grown my personal brand as a fashion blogger successfully and have been able to follow my dream of becoming an educator with no restrictions.
