Community Highlights: Meet Trenisha Webster of T-Marie Innovations

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trenisha Webster.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
A few years ago, Iowa was going through an employment crisis. There were a lack of jobs, stability, and security. I was living unemployment check to unemployment check. I was blessed to have family and my children’s father to help out as much as they could. One day, late 2015, I was looking at investment opportunities and came across NY Wholesale in New York. I went to New York in 2016 to check out their warehouse and discussed business. Once I came back home, I chose to expand my education and enrolled at Purdue University for my Master’s Degree. I started filling out employment applications and was accepted into one of our major insurance companies. 2016 really opened my doors to accept many opportunities. I chose to open my line of business which is now 7 years old. My history with writing and helping others was my gateway to starting T-Marie Innovations. Each year, I choose to expand my brand and add more services to my company. I’ve worked with numerous clients from all over the US, however, 1 main supporter has been my children’s father. We would discuss business strategies, ideas and services. If I lacked in something, he had that strength and vice versa. Watching him gave me the motivation to start my business. Our children gave me hope and courage to keep pushing especially knowing that I will leave a legacy to them.

My company T-Marie Innovations LLC has been growing rapidly and available to do business nationwide. I am proud to say I am Trenisha, MBA and owner of T-Marie Innovations LLC and 750+ Credit Club.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting a business is never a smooth road. You’re creating your blueprint. I did my research on my state, analyzed my skills, wrote business plans to create my future, licensing research, certification testing, paying for bonds and registrations and marketing my business. I tell my clients that you shouldn’t expect a surplus your first 2 years in business because your spending money on building your brand. It takes money to make money. Social media was a major help along with word-of-mouth. Till this day, clients that gave me the opportunity my first year have mentioned my name and referred me to their family and friends.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about T-Marie Innovations LLC?

It has been a year since I created 750+ Credit Club, however, I’ve been working with credit for over a decade. With business credit, I created my own book, Building Business Credit for Small Businesses, to help business owners rely on their company finances versus their personal credit. My book has been available since 2020 and you can find it on Amazon, Barnes & Noble online and Good reads.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite childhood memory? I have so many. I would have to say my most educational moment. I was in elementary school and I hated reading. I hated spelling and writing. My great-grandpa would stress the importance of education. He would have me spell out my words ten times each. I would have practice tests after that and whatever words(s) I would get wrong, I would have to rewrite those words 10 more times till I got all words correct. At that age, you would think, why am I being punished? I am very grateful that he committed to teaching me. The challenges he placed on me gravitated to the person I am today. Being able to write, read and spell gave me that skill to reach high potential for college.

He would always say, “Peach, they can take anything physical from you, however, what you have in your mind, they can’t break or take.”

I took that with me for future plans. Due to that statement, that quote, I received 4 college degrees, 2 open lines of business, becoming an author, working for great company & what I’m most proud of is becoming the best mother I can be for my babies.
