Community Highlights: Meet Sara Wong of Energy Haus

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara Wong.

Hi Sara, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
After 15 years in content marketing including virtual reality, I followed my passion of energy healing and opened up Energy Haus in 2018 with my husband in Long Beach. For almost two years, we served thousands of clients with unique products, services, and healing events. Once the pandemic hit in 2020, we had to make a hard decision to close our physical store location and shift our business online. It was a wild ride to say the least, we were fortunate to have clients but we needed to make major changes as our business wasn’t seeing the same results. In 2021, we introduced new services and evolved our product offerings. My husband started supporting people with building their crypto portfolio. I started creating online classes and content to support people with their energy healing needs and personal meditation practice. I even had my own radio show for four months airing over 22 episodes on the NBC/CNBC KCAA radio network. In 2021, we also became pregnant with our first child and we welcomed her into the world in 2022. With this new content focus and becoming a mother, I am so excited to expand my creations to support women and continue to support everyone with understanding their own healing powers and energy. Energy Haus is still around and we have introduced more healers to support people with virtual healing services as I shift my focus to creating classes and content. It’s been an amazing journey and I am so grateful to be able to serve with people I highly respect and that are super talented.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The pandemic really turned our whole world upside down. We were getting ready to expand our store and open another location. We soon realized that times had changed and so had our goals and visions. I had to learn quick how to shift my offerings to be online which was a completely different business model. Also, getting pregnant forced me to really look at life differently as my energy decreased and I needed more time to take care of myself and needs. The hardest part was trusting that I can still serve and make a living doing something completely different. It required me to learn new skills and try new ways, but most of all trust and surrender to the flow of changes. With media consumption changing and new platforms emerging, I feel we are all going to be faced with many changes and I am grateful to be a part of that in ways that can heal and support people. I look forward to creating more content with the new platforms and even on the up and coming metaverse. Having worked with content and technology for 15 years, I truly believe it can serve us in a big way with proper balance.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
