Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan Walsh.
Hi Morgan, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Our grandparents started Cupid’s Hot Dogs in 1946. We took over 12 years ago after our father passed away suddenly. We knew how much the stores meant to the community so we knew we had to keep the business going. We love to roller skate so we started doing car hop service when Covid hit. It’s been a huge hit, we went viral on Tik Tok with over 6.5 million views. People have been driving in from all over to watch us skate.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We took over after our father passed away suddenly. We didn’t know anything about running a business. I had just turned 21 and was in college and my sister was 27 and working in event production. So we definitely had a rocky start.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Cupid’s Hot Dogs?
We are proud to be a third-generation owned business that has made it to 75 years!
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Keeping our menu simple, staying true to our grandparents vision, and having fun while we work (hence the roller skating)
