Check out Tamara Issi, Natalie Padron, Jamil Bautista and Michael Cornejo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tamara Issi, Natalie Padron, Jamil Bautista and Michael Cornejo.

Tamara, Natalie, Jamil and Michael, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
During the creation of our first short film, “Who’s Waldo?”, one of the founding members was asked to climb a tree, a task that proved very daunting for this height-fearing woman. We all yelled “For the art! Do it for the art!” and thus a film production company of four friends who are obsessed with each other and our endeavors was officially created.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
We are a production team. We are all about producing creative content on a variety of platforms; events, music, style, photoshoots, music videos, podcasts. Most recently, we were able to begin our biggest endeavor yet, the much-anticipated, Roller World. Roller World is a feature-length roller vampire horror movie that has the makings to be the next cult classic. Our message in our art is creating a platform where nothing is limiting to us, never giving up the childhood dream, essentially.

What do you think it takes to be successful as an artist?
Exposure seems easy for artists but with accessibility comes excess-ability. Sometimes it seems like there’s too much content out there for all of it to be seen by the “right” people. Through our community comes a platform that allows us to grow and connect with others. We feel like most cities have their little communities but it’s all about reaching out to each other and being proactive. One of our biggest collaborators and supporters is Consumption Collab. We’ve networked and branched out in the past six months alongside the likes of Consumption Collab, Taylor Collins, and LOC Productions, to name a few.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
Our Instagram is @For_the_artproductions, our podcast is “What’s Fappenin'” on all platforms. Though currently inactive, you might find something on our YouTube account, FAP TV.

The Instagram page for our film is @RollerWorldMovie.

You can support our work by liking and sharing our content. If you would like to support our upcoming feature film, you can donate to our Venmo account, @Roller-World.
