Check Out Leroy Musonye (Mr Put Together)’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leroy Musonye (Mr Put Together).

Hi Leroy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
So I was always into style and being different which people made fun of me in Kenya and even when I touched down in the USA in 2002. I got on Instagram and I wanted to get into modeling/ influencing. When I came up with the name Mr put together I started giving style advice and fragrance reviews. I have always been a businessman & I said to myself why I’m I doing all this work for free? I should turn this into a business! With trial and error and a lot of advice from people like Keith & Kree from The journey, & my cousin Skye Charlie I cracked the code. Now I’m aiming to get into the celebrity world and start styling them, also just grow the influencing business some more and be able to do this full time in the next two years. Can’t wait to touch down in LA and get some work done in the city of stars. I’m saying this now I will be the next big stylist/ Influencer on the rise don’t forget (Mr Put Together)

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been rough to say the least haha. For years I had no idea where to even start, how to ask brands for partnership/ money. How to advertise styling and price scaling etc. The struggle I faced early was showing people value in what I did and why me vs anybody else.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a fashion stylist, I specialize in suiting and fragrances. I’m known for my Instagram Mr put together it came from my attention to detail and making sure everything makes sense and fits. Also not only you look your best but smell your best! I am most proud of how I have progressed and not given up on my dreams even when money didn’t come and it looked hopeless. What sets me apart is I’m not afraid to break rules but still fit into the foundation if that makes sense.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I will for sure say good luck has played a major role in my life and business. I will also say the reason I feel like I get a lot of luck is one I manifest it, and two I position myself to win. I’m always at the right place at the right time and happen to talk to the right people who open bigger and bigger doors for me.
