Check Out Javosski Rembert’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Javosski Rembert.

Hi Javosski, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Four years ago, I was in a car accident that could have ended my life or left me paralyzed. Thank God I walked away with only a fractured neck. During my seven months of recovery, I was on the internet a lot and I noticed people would wear anything they felt represented them, Negative or Positive it was being worn. Once I noticed that, I decided to start my business and I named it the Better Man aka The BM Collection. The better man would represent mankind, women & children included. The TBM stands for enhancement and my product would be a reflection of the better man lifestyle. Fast forward to today and The BM Collection is making a name for itself in these LA streets.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Of course, the journey hasn’t been as smooth as I would like it to be but it’s fine. It’s all a part of the journey, in the beginning I had a hard time finding good locations to sell my product. I started at harbor city college swap meet, great place to start. I learned a lot being there but it was a bad look for the brand because I was surrounded by cheap product. Who’s willing to spend 20$ for a T-shirt when the guy next to me selling his t-shirts 3 for $5.00. So location was definitely something I had to learn.

Learning ways to market/target the customers I want wearing my product.

Funding my business was also part of my struggle because the money I use to run my business comes from my 9 to 5. No loans or private investors.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I have been working as a certified coding specialist for four years now. I’ve worked at some of the known hospitals in Los Angeles since I graduated high school. I am originally from Tuscaloosa Alabama, I moved here with my family when I was six. I have been in Los Angeles for over 30 years and I have never claimed a gang. I’m proud to say I’ve done that. Lol, No problems with the law. Cool guy, down to earth. I’m known best for inspiring others to do better and having a positive attitude.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
The things that matter to me the most are family, God and my health. I need them all to get through my day.
