Check Out Erin Jade’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Jade.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I always drew and was creative as a kid but didn’t pick up a paintbrush until after I was 18 and was going through a rough patch in life. I guess you could say my journey to joy started when I discovered how much I love to paint to music.

I was born with a stroke and always had a different type of attachment to music, it influences every avenue of my life, including my paintings.

I always want to create as much color and movement in my art pieces.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
As mentioned, I’d think my biggest challenge was overcoming the idea of being labeled as “weak” or “different” being born with a stroke, however without I don’t think I would have turned out to be the type of artist I am today.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I work both as a TV producer and painter. I am most proud of the fact I juggle both as career paths and I think what sets me apart is my pink hair, joking, perhaps being raised in LA and entertainment industry and seeing those not as famous but as creatives.

I always like to see the human in everyone and everything I work on.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Being kind to myself and then to others.
