Check Out Brigitte Caille’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brigitte Caille.

Hi Brigitte, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
In 2013, I decided on a career change, which included going back to school to earn my esthetics license. About a year after that, I was hired by one of my clients to do makeup for a large bridal party. It was pretty clear to me from the beginning how much I enjoyed it.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’d say it’s been pretty smooth. I’m grateful that I’ve been able to design my career around my family life. I’ve always worked independently so that has given me a lot of freedom to work how, where and when I choose to.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
The majority of my work is beauty and bridal makeup. I think as an artist, it’s important that I can work confidently with all ages and all skin tones. I’m not limited to a certain type of client.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Introvert, through and through! I’ve since grown out of the shyness but still tend to be quiet. Many clients have mentioned that they appreciate my calm and patient personality. Since I was very young, I’ve always loved arts and crafts. I think that spills over into fashion, makeup, and style in general. I remember looking at album covers and watching music videos of Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Tina Turner, etc., and being so intrigued by their looks.
