Check Out Brieanna Grace’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brieanna Grace.

Hi Brieanna, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
It’s been a long journey. Full of starting over, full of “yes” and “no”. Grew up in church, was in a cult, moved across the country twice, toured the states, and have pursued music my entire life.

Quincy Jones said: “Your music will never be more or less than who you are as a person”. I realized in the past few years that if I wanted my music to be great, then I had to be great as a human. If I wanted to create authentic songs, I had to be authentic with myself. This perspective has changed everything for me. I’ve had to start over more times than anyone I know. I’ve lost things dear to me more times than I can count. Through it all, my love for music and writing has carried me. I’ve followed wherever its lead, and here I am. Spiritually healthy, resilient, and walking in purpose. I’ve had a long rollercoaster story, and I will continue on this journey and continue my story.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been a smooth one. Is it ever really for creatives? Is it ever really for anyone? I have a feeling that if my journey was smooth sailing, I would be incredibly bored. I’ve been labeled the “bounce back” queen from my friends and family, and I wear it with pride. No matter what the struggle, I will make it through and come out the other side better.

In a world that requires authenticity and will simultaneously praise the opposite, I feel at constant battle. Maybe it’s just my Gemini Moon. The struggle to become your best self, and create the best art you can create is an amazing and fulfilling struggle. I’m honored to have it.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Moody Pop Artist. My music is the type that you yell into your pillow at night when you need to get shit out and really feel your feelings. It’s all about connection for me, relating to other humans in this life experience and singing about it. I’m most proud of my resilience, and intimate songwriting. I also vocal produce other Artist’s projects as well, and it’s so much fun, it lets my nerdy technical side come out. I’m a singer, songwriter, vocal engineer/producer and musician. I’d say my favorite speciality though is live performance, I’ve toured all over the USA and there’s nothing like a live show and the energetic connection to the audience. It’s everything.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Resilience, authenticity, and knowing yourself as much as possible. What moves you, what drives you, what you believe in. For me, I need a reason, a purpose in what I’m doing or else my heart isn’t in it. I know what drives me, I know my lane, and I highlight the parts of myself that are unique. It’s all about connecting to your listeners, and skill is just being able to communicate that effectively.

Realizing that what creates a great Artist is not just having a great voice, it’s having something to say.
