Check out Lisa Bertoldo’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Bertoldo.

Lisa, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I am from a rural town in Australia. I moved to Los Angeles by myself at the age of 22 to pursue my acting career. I managed to find an apartment and a job within two weeks and hit the ground running in terms of networking and pushing my comfort zone. I have studied a Bachelor of Arts Acting to Screen and Stage back home along with numerous acting courses. I have dabbled in modelling here and there and have been producing my own content. I am a country girl at heart and most happy after my morning coffee. Being new to LA has been a roller coaster of ups and downs from not knowing anyone to that sketchy audition. I know there will be many more challenges in the road ahead but I’m ready for them!

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I grew up shooting guns and running through the bush playing childhood games and was almost always outside. I am an actor, model, writer and producer and I believe with my upbringing I add a certain toughness and sass to a very innocent look. I like to create my own content which push the boundaries of social normality’s especially with woman. I want to inspire other woman to not feel restrained or censored and have the confidence and empowerment to express themselves and say what they want without the fear of rejection or what people may think. I am typically known as the friend who is a tad politically incorrect with a blunt and dry sense of humor. I love making people laugh. Comedy is my strongest asset especially with acting. I wish to create and express many stories and characters that are rateable, ridiculous and just fun to watch.

How can artists connect with other artists?
Try social media groups, sports groups and just getting out of the house. It’s actually hard to meet people in LA but I try to go to a few happy hours here and there and introduce myself to people.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
I have currently started my own production company called Lindy Lou Productions and content will be uploaded soon enough 🙂 Otherwise is my website.
