Check out Kamuel’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kamuel.

Kamuel, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
In 2013, I built and sold my first viral niche Twitter account, which eventually led me into the underground marketplace of social media. This is when I started to see major business opportunity on the Internet.

I studied Media & Fine Arts at Ohio University for 3.5 years, while also working with online brands such as College Weekly, Raging Mammoth, and We Stay Chill. During this time, I learned how to operate accounts that average over 20 million monthly impressions, while additionally creating content for some of the biggest Hip Hop artists in the world. Before I realized it, I had unintentionally started turning my passion into a lifestyle, simply from posting on social media and networking with the right people.

In 2018, I moved to Los Angeles to finish my last semester of college as a media intern at Smash Haus Music Group. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree, I created Mogul Digital Strategies LLC, a social media agency that specializes in branding, strategy and audience development for businesses, influencers, and artists.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
As an online entrepreneur and creator, I encourage everyone to be versatile. Don’t limit yourself.

My skills include social media management, digital marketing, graphic design, video editing, photography, video directing, content creation, animation, and more.

Have things improved for artists? What should cities do to empower artists?
Authenticity and collaboration are two major keys to growing as artist, especially in LA.

In my opinion, the creator culture has become very saturated and unoriginal. Although networking with others through social media is extremely easy nowadays, it is more difficult to stand out and be recognized for your talents.

My biggest advice for any artist is to brand yourself before somebody else does it for you.
