We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I love all art forms, I have always performed and created art ever since I can remember. I struggle to find the balance of my crafts because I want to do them all. As of right now, I am focusing on my music and tattooing. I am 2 ½ years into my solo music and hand poke tattooing. I am an entrepreneur and hustler at heart and doing these two crafts have been such a dream and I am loving the entire process. I do it because it is who I am, I feel free, I am happy, I can hold myself accountable, I feel like I am pushing myself to do better and with both, I am stepping into my power.

My inspiration is life, I am constantly inspired by my friends, family, work, conversations, people watching, nature, listening and dreams. My hand poke work that I love to create is more native, tribal, linear abstract art. My style that I want to step more into is adornments that really compliment the body. I look forward to keep creating one on one pieces of art that really resonate with the client while I get to really be the artist and just flow. My music is much like my art in a way of being abstract. I want people dance, feel their inner fire and understood. I hope I can inspire other women to step into their beauty, magic and power.

Do you have any advice for other artists? Any lessons you wished you learned earlier?
We all have our own paths we must learn in this life. I feel like the advice I can share that stands the test of time is to always be true to your craft. Do what makes you light up inside and never give up on yourself. The artist’s way is not an easy way to live. It is full of struggle, unknown certainties, and a constant everyday hustle. But the artist way is no other way to be for me, there is so much beauty to be had, growth, a whole new line, a whole new look, new sound, reinventing and discovering new parts along the way. If you are sitting with your craft feeling unsatisfied, learn something new, push the boundaries, step out of your bubble and shift your perspective. Learn to be proud of your work and believe in what you do.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
I am in the process of recording my first full-length solo album that will be coming out this fall of 2020.
