Today we’d like to introduce you to Pooja Photography.
Pooja, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
When I was a child, I remember standing a the edge of a cliff, soaking in that marvelous magnanimous landscape which stood in front of me. The view was simply magical with snow covered mountains, fresh glacier water stream, sandy riverbed, and rough winter desert terrain. I can feel the freshness of that air even now after these many years like it was yesterday.
I remember feeling…I wish I could share this with the world. That was the moment when my photography journey started.
I feel I owe it to the world to share the beauty I see around me and let others enjoy it as much as I do.
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
My artwork is a reflection of my client’s and my creativity. Together we set a goal to make something new. Something that touches your soul.
Artists cannot be limited to a box, and once you give them the creative control, you unleash a power. Power to create magic.
What responsibility, if any, do you think artists have to use their art to help alleviate problems faced by others? Has your art been affected by issues you’ve concerned about?
We artists have more responsibility now. Photographs can change perspectives. The way people look at themselves or things around them is immensely affected by what we project in our work.
I truly believe every photograph shares a story. Look into the eyes of the person in the photograph, ponder at the scenery and feel the power of emotions that you experience.
Photographs can make you more human. If you feel an emotion, the photographer did a good job.
What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
I hold a huge existence on Social Media, and my website is always being updated with beautiful photographs, blogs, and education for my clients. The more I share, the more it helps everyone and the art industry.
I have upcoming exhibitions to display my work here in North California Galleries. Please reach out to me, and I can share the dates and locations of these events.
