Art & Life with Kristina Benjamin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristina Benjamin.

Kristina, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
Studied painting in ancient and contemporary techniques in Florence, Italy I traveled the world doing artwork for public and private collections. When I moved to live in Los Angeles, I found myself in here, and many changes happened to me and to my Inner world. So did my art changed dramatically with it.

My style of work, theme and even size of paintings expanded. Name changed as well – new Artist is now presented to the world.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I do oil on canvas, fine art in fantasy realism style. Each painting has its unique story that I invite you to read through your own lens. I tend to blend time and space dimensions, reality and fantasy, so you read the message with a wider mindset.

In your view, what is the biggest issue artists have to deal with?
The biggest challenge for me is to present and to push my art to the public. Painting is a very intimate process for me and giving it out there, promoting myself as an Artist is quite stressful in times and destruct from my work. I tend to keep painting more rather than to share my work widely. But I am working on that, hahaha. Getting better. What uplifts and inspire me to do so is people feedback. I am getting messages and views from hundreds of people who get inspired by my artwork, and that is beautiful! In this, I am finding joy and my reason to keep going.

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
As my style and art name was changed any of the previous works are no longer available, a new line of work you can follow on Instagram @kristina_benjamin, and soon the website will be presented too – all the updates now are only through IG page. Send me your good thoughts and lots of positive energy – all that will be a Great Support for me in a new line of work journey.
